Certified Translation for Immigration Authorities

The same standard, whichever agency receives it

What an agency expects alongside the translation differs; what we put into the translation does not. Every certified order is prepared the same way and carries the same certificate.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions.

What people ask before sending a translation to an immigration authority.

Are these the only authorities you work with?

These are the three immigration authorities we format specifically for, and each has a page here setting out its requirement in full. We translate documents headed anywhere — but countries that run on sworn or court-appointed translators, Germany and Spain among them, require a translator appointed in that country, which is a different qualification from the certified translation we provide. Tell us the destination before you order and we will confirm which applies.

Is Cloud Translate affiliated with any of these agencies?

No. We are an independently owned translation company. We format certified translations to meet the requirements these agencies publish, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any of them, and we do not act on their behalf. See our About page for the full disclosure.

Does the translation itself change depending on the agency?

The translation standard does not: complete, word-for-word, reviewed by a second linguist, with a signed Certificate of Accuracy. What changes is what has to accompany it — a sworn affidavit for IRCC where the translator is not association-certified, for instance, or notarization where an institution asks for it on top.

How much does it cost, and how long does it take?

Certified translation is $18.00 per page, where a page is standardised at up to 250 words, with delivery in up to 48 hours driven by word count. Notarization is $9.00 per order where a filing needs it. The price calculator shows your exact price and delivery estimate before you order.
