No. Cloud Translate is an independently owned translation company. Our certified translations are formatted to meet the requirements those agencies publish, but we are a private company, not a government office, and we don't act on behalf of, or speak for, USCIS, IRCC, UKVI, or any other government or immigration authority.
Who translates my documents?
Every project is assigned to a translator working in their certified language pair, with a second linguist reviewing the work before delivery. See our ATA Corporate Membership page for the professional standard we hold ourselves to.
Is Cloud Translate a certified translator or a certifying authority?
Neither, in the formal regulatory sense. “Certified translation” refers to the signed Certificate of Accuracy that accompanies your translation, not a government license held by the company. We are ATA corporate members; we don’t issue certifications to other translators or businesses.
How do you vet your translators?
Translators are matched to projects by language pair and subject-matter background (legal, medical, technical, financial, and so on), and every translation is reviewed by a second linguist before delivery, the same process described on our Certified Translation page.
What happens if a receiving institution rejects my translation?
